3: The Church Trimester 2: Developing the Way – part one
The Lion Is In The Way From our last discussion (blog): “The Church Trimester 1: Preparing the Way,” we envisioned the physical formation of our Church Body through cultural, political, religious, philosophical and immediate preparations. These preparations marked the first trimester of our Church Body. In the second trimester, God takes meticulous energy to develop our cognitive structures, that is, how we think and relate to one another. In Madam Patience Osei-Anyamesem’s “The Classroom Laboratory” (© 2004), a course she designed and instituted for training teachers, she defines cognition as The construction of intellect: how we learn something, how we keep (store) it in its original template (schemata), and how we implement what we’ve learned into our everyday lives to make it work well for us.
