3: The Church Trimester 2: Developing the Way – part one
The Lion Is In The Way
From our last discussion (blog): “The
Church Trimester 1: Preparing the Way,” we envisioned the physical
formation of our Church Body through cultural, political, religious, philosophical
and immediate preparations. These preparations marked the first trimester of
our Church Body. In the second
trimester, God takes meticulous energy to develop our cognitive
structures, that is, how we think and relate to one another.
In Madam Patience Osei-Anyamesem’s “The
Classroom Laboratory” (© 2004), a course she designed and instituted for
training teachers, she defines cognition as The construction of intellect: how we learn
something, how we keep (store) it in its original template (schemata), and how
we implement what we’ve learned into our everyday lives to make it work well
for us.
Her Master, Our Creator, designed and instituted THE WAY for us via the cognitive conception of His Church Body, and placed its precepts (rules, or “how to’s”) in the development of how the Church Body lives, moves and has its being (Acts 17:28). In essence, the Church is the emBODIment of God’s Way, The Way.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully
and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows
very well.
(Psalm 139:14).
We praise the Lord, our Maker for
making the Church Body so awesome (fearsome) and wonderful that even outsiders,
who heard about what was happening inside the Church, were in awe and had
reverent fear of The Way the Church Body lived, moved and had its being (Acts
2:43 and 5:11).
The Book of The Acts of The Apostles
clearly characterizes The Way our Heavenly Father wanted us, His Church Body,
to live, move and have our being.
Lived
The Early Church continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine
(Acts 2:38) and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers (Acts
3:42). So continuing daily with one
accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food
with gladness and simplicity of heart (Acts 3:46).
Moved
Then fear [a sense of awe and wonder at how the Holy Spirit was
moving and operating in the members of the Church Body] came upon every soul,
and many wonders and signs [miracles] were done through the apostles. And all who believed were together, and had
all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them
among all, as anyone had need (Acts 3:43-45).
Had Its Being
Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the Church daily those
who were being saved (Acts 3:47).
The members worshiped and praised God, through Jesus Christ in one
Spirit and in Truth (John 4:28); and it was seen demonstrated in their giving
to each other and in their unyielding obedience to and dependence on the living
God, through Jesus Christ.
The
Doctrinal teachings, the Fear of the Lord, the Unity, Sharing and Taking
Special Care of the needs of all Church members culminating in Worship and
Praise are God’s precepts developed into The
Way, God’s Way, for how we should live, move and have our being in Him.
THE LION IS IN THE WAY!: A Message to the Naked Church contains the
oracle which sounds an alarm to give warning to the Christian—Pastors,
Ministers and Fellow Sheep—who is out of The Way (Chapter 2: p.11).
In our next discussion, from Chapter
2, we shall continue our journey uncovering The
Lion’s reasons for being In
The Way.

ABOUT THE BOOK
The Lion Is In The Way is an oracle for today’s
congregations and tomorrow’s generations.
It is a revelation about the attitude prevailing in our contemporary
churches. This revelation is concerned
with the behaviour of complacency among His Church leaders; and how Jesus
grieves about how His Church has gone wayward.
This book reveals to all readers, especially to the born-again who are
walking in the narrow way to heaven, the warning about the consequences of
backsliding. His appearance is to
correct the errors of those going wayward and bring them back to The Perfect
Way in order to avoid His wrath before His second coming. He is coming soon!
